INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

At ANKİBABY, we place great importance on processing and safeguarding your personal data in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”). We would like to inform our customers about the purpose and methods of collecting, processing, and transferring personal data, as well as your rights arising from the Law.

1. Methods of Collecting Personal Data

As the data controller, ANKİBABY collects your personal data verbally, in writing, or electronically via websites, social media platforms, mobile applications, and similar means within the scope of our legal obligations; to enable you to benefit from our brands’ services; to inform you about campaigns with your consent; to record your suggestions and complaints; to improve service standards; and for the determination and implementation of commercial and business strategies of NU BEBE.

2. Processing of Personal Data and Purposes

As the data controller, ANKİBABY may obtain, record, store, retain, modify, update, periodically review, reorganize, classify, or share/transmit your personal and/or special categories of personal data obtained with your consent partially or fully through various communication channels such as call centers, written communication, social media pages, mobile communication, in-store channels, and others, to the extent permitted by law or necessary for service fulfillment. Your data may be transferred to third parties within Turkey or abroad, including public institutions, legal entities, or natural persons as required by law or service obligations.

Your personal data may be processed for the purposes of benefiting from ANKİBABY’s brand services, informing you about campaigns (with your consent), recording suggestions and complaints, improving service quality, and implementing ANKIToys’ commercial strategies in compliance with Law No. 6698 and related legislation.

3. Transfer of Personal Data

ANKİBABY transfers your personal data only based on your explicit consent or within the scope of security and confidentiality principles as stipulated in the Law. Transfers may be made domestically or internationally with necessary safeguards to group companies, business partners, customers, suppliers, audit firms, public institutions authorized to request such data, and other relevant authorities for purposes such as conducting company operations, maintaining business relations, offering services, opportunities, and enhancing service quality.

4. Rights of Data Subjects under Article 11 of the Law No. 6698

ANKİBABY will respond to the following requests of data subjects:

a) To learn whether ANKİBABY processes their personal data and which data is processed,
b) To receive information regarding the purposes of processing,
c) To know the third parties within or outside Turkey to whom personal data is transferred,
d) To request correction if personal data is incomplete or inaccurate,
e) To request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the Law,
f) To request notification of the correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom the data was transferred,
g) To object to any outcome arising from automatic processing of their data, and
h) To obtain a copy of their personal data.
